These days, as the ebook market grrow up, there are many debate about which is better between the 

 E-Book and paper books.  So this page i  want to give you the pros and cons of using traditional books and E books,

● Paper books

Paper books have multiple advantages

◆ Paper book is portable.

◆ You do not use your eye sights as much as while reading e-books.

◆ Gifts. you can give the books for present in birthday or christmas present.

◆ you can collect the books which you love it.

◆ you can buy the book with cheap price in the bookstore.

Paper Book also  have disadvantages.

◆  Paper books are bulky and heavy. Carrying more than 2~3 books make people tired.

◆ you need a light source to read them or you need to carry the light for reading the book

when it become dark.

◆ Sometimes people lose books.

◆ They came from trees so paper is one of the mjor problem of environment.

 

● E-Book

E-books provide many advantages over traditional books

◆  E-books offer portability and convenience because it take up less space.

◆  E-books are delivered almost instantaneously and 24 hours a day.

you can purchase, download and start reading them within minutes.

◆  They show links, for easy searching to more information related websites.

◆  They can be interactive and contain audio, video and animations,

which can enhance the message that the author is trying to convey

◆ Fonts in E-book can be resized, making it easier to read for people with disabilities.

◆ They can be printable, so that if you wish to read an E-Book in the traditional way, you can

print it inexpensively with your home printer or at any printing shop.

E-Book also  have disadvantages.

◆ The life

E-Book have unreliable life span. Paper has a much longer life span than most digital forms.

◆ The comfort

Reading from a computer lacks the familiarity and comfort of reading from a book. A paper book can be opened and flipped through, while an electronic text is more difficult to navigate.

◆ The Health

Screen glare and eyestrain are a serious concern for many potential users of e-book reader. The display resolution of computer screens and electronic devices is considerably less than print quality produced by printing press.

Study shows e-book reader more environmentally friendly than paper books

Claim that the Amazon Kindle electronic reader is more environmentally friendly than paper books hold up,according to an analysis by the Ceantech Group.

They said that carbon emission from electronic books are far lower than traditional book publishing. Thus, according to the study, if a person continues to buy books and print periodicals and doesn't recycle the product, the environmental impact could potentionally be negative.
